"Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to Your Word"

Mary, a woman of faith and obedience, has showed her genuine love and devotion to the Lord through surrendering all of her to the Lord. Mary believes that there is something bigger, greater, and more powerful than her. She honored God and relied on Him.
In the gospel of the Fourth Sunday of Advent, the conception of Jesus in the womb of Mary was explicated as archangel Gabriel was sent to the latter in order to deliver the message of how the Son of the Lord will come to Earth through her. The Blessed Virgin Mary having had remained untouched by a man is perplexed on how such circumstance could transpire. The archangel would remind Mary of how there is nothing impossible with the Lord God, using Mary's relative, Elizabeth, a woman of old age and supposedly barren having had the chance to conceive and bear children.
One can infer through this Gospel on how God makes the seemingly impossible possible as His plan transcends all the earthly trials and tribulations that seemingly impedes our journey - we only need to believe and have faith in Him. Just like Mary, we have to believe in what God has planned for us. The key to redemption and salvation is FAITH and OBEDIENCE to the Lord— to surrender everything to Him. Submitting oneself to God, however, is not just by following Christian traditions and rules; it is a MATTER OF THE HEART. Faith begins when one’s heart acknowledges that Jesus is the Lord. Genuine faith is not just praising God through words, but lives his faith with actions. One knows that the Lord is truly alive, within ones heart and mind.
“Lord I offer my life to you, everything I’ve been through, use it for Your Glory”
“And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father's only Son, full of grace and truth.
God has heard the plea of His people, SALVATION. They have been longing for freedom as they had suffered from endless suffering and persecution. Today, on the 25th of December, God’s promise of salvation is fulfilled as Jesus; the Son of God is born.
Now that the Saviour is born, we should fear no more. The birth of Jesus Christ is a reminder for us that the glory is now revealed to us in the earth. The time now calls for us to trust in Him and cling to His promise.
